Each Amish Community has its own distinct style of plain, solid-colored clothing and horse drawn carriages.

Amish communication relies heavily on talking with one another, especially at church, school, or through the mail. They tend to have large families and farm homes to accommodate multiple generations. They strive for a life of simplicity, humility and peace.
